Venue: Euro School Airoli Partrners: Triumph Blood Bank and Interact Club of Euro School Airoli No. of blood units collected: *64* units for thalassemia patients , collected from parents and teachers Funds raised: Rs 24,000-/- for Triumph Blood Bank Important aspects: The students of the Interact Club of Euro school Airoli (about 35 students) along with two teachers visited the Triumph Blood Bank a fortnight ago. The CMO of the blood bank Dr.Varsha Pancholi, explained to them about Thalassemia and took them on a guided tour of the blood bank. These students sensitized their peers in all other classes through their presentations. They also prepared several posters informing parents about thalassemia and blood donation. During the blood donation camp, these students also volunteered for donor registration, distribution of refreshments and in the donation counter.
