Pashu Raksha activity: Pet Wellness Project(1)

Veterinary doctor spearheading the activity: **PP Dr.Sarojini Kamble, RC Thane Horizon in her hospital, Animal Planet* Details: A Special Weekend Pet Health Drive was conducted. The main aim of this program was to promote preventive healthcare and early detection of diseases in pets. During these two days, Dr.Sarojini and her team administered approximately 85 vaccinations (for dogs and cats) to protect them from common infectious diseases. In addition, they performed around 22 complete blood tests (CBC) , ECG (heart check) and blood pressure ( BP ) checkups. These tests helped in identifying any hidden health problems, especially related to the heart and overall body condition at an affordable cost and gained awareness about the importance of regular health check-ups. The camp was very helpful for pet owners, as they received important health services like FREE RABIES VACCINATION

Day 2: The students had to recall and name some objects displayed on screen (focus building exercise). They were also made to engage in simple conversational activity. The children were given reading practice and also taught the correct pronunciation of difficult words. Day 3: The students were taught to identify errors in sentences and to correct them. The CMO of the blood bank Dr.Varsha Pancholi, explained to them about Thalassemia and took them on a guided tour of the blood bank. These students sensitized their peers in all other classes through their presentations. They also prepared several posters informing parents about thalassemia and blood donation. During the blood donation camp, these students also volunteered for donor registration, distribution of refreshments and in the certificate counter.

This was a 3-day *online* ACEplus workshop titled *How ACEready R U*? : 17th, 18th and 19th September 2025 Day 1: The students were taught to introduce themselves in correct English. They also learnt antonyms and synonyms. Day 2: The students had to recall and name some objects displayed on screen (focus building exercise). They were also made to engage in simple conversational activity. The children were given reading practice and also taught the correct pronunciation of difficult words. Day 3: The students were taught to identify errors in sentences and to correct them. Through roleplay, they were taught to build a conversation.
