Blood donation camp 4:* *Organised by: RC Thane Horizon* ( *President: Rtn.Nilesh Veera)* Venue: *Pawar Public School, Bhandup* Date,: 4 th October,2025 Activity Partner: *Triumph Blood Bank*, Thane and *Interact Club* of Pawar Public School Bhandup No.of blood units collected: *75 units* of blood for Thalassemia patients Important aspects: The students of the Interact Club of Pawar Public School Bhandup (about 45 students ) along with two teachers visited the Triumph Blood Bank a fortnight ago. The CMO of the blood bank Dr.Varsha Pancholi, explained to them about Thalassemia and took them on a guided tour of the blood bank. These students sensitized their peers in all other classes through their presentations. They also prepared several posters informing parents about thalassemia and blood donation. During the blood donation camp, these students also volunteered for donor registration, distribution of refreshments and in the certificate counter.
